Cannot remove the calendar events

My friend gave me her used ASUS A626 personal PC as a gift, but wanted to clear out her text input on her calendar (for obvious personal reasons). We would like a step by step guide on how to remove it. Thank You!

Did your friend do a "hard reset" of the PDA before she gave it to you? A hard reset should erase all user settings and data, returning the system to its default state.

The ASUS 626 User Manual (Ch. 1, Pg. 4) refers to this process as a "clean reset". The following instructions were extracted from the user guide:

NOTE To perform a clean reset, press the launch button and
simultaneously pressing the stylus on the reset switch. Then
a warning message appears. Press to do clean reset, or
press to leave the operation screen.
Performing a soft reset will not change the data in the device;
while performing a clean reset will delete all data

As far as I can tell ther is no way to change the line spacing on the Calender Creator Delux edition. However, there is a work around. You can find out how here: Margins Line Spacing.

How do I remove Facebook events from my Samsung S Planner calendar?

I had this problem on my Galaxy S5 - There's 2 steps to fix it.
1) Remove the declined event from Facebook
In the Event page, you'll see buttons for "Join" "Maybe" "Decline" and "..." click the ... and choose "Remove me from guest list"
2) Clear out calendar data and Resync
On your device, open the full Application Manager (usually in settings / Applications / Application manager / All ) and look for "Calendar Storage" - choose "Clear Data" (and "Clear Cache" too, to be safe)
Open the Splanner app settings and choose sync.

If you are using Calendar Creator (CC) version 10 and you want to remove the time of events from the calendar, you can do so by following these steps:

Open Calendar Creator and select the calendar that you want to modify.
Click on the "Edit" menu and choose "Global Modification".
In the "Global Modification" window, select the "Date/Time" tab.
Under "Date/Time Format", select the option for "Date only" and click "OK".
The time of events will now be removed from the calendar.

Keep in mind that this change will apply to all events on the calendar, so any events that have a specific time associated with them will no longer display the time on the calendar. If you only want to remove the time of certain events, you will need to modify those events individually.

On the right side of your ASUS A626 there is a switch that says "HOLD". Make sure that isn't flipped on.

Overwrite all calendar events

Selct Desktop overwrite Handheld. You can change the way the synchronisation takes place for all applications, either from the palm desktop application or from the status icon in the taskmanager bar. There are different options: - Synchronize - Handheld overwrite desktop - Desktop overwrite handheld - Do Nothing If the PC is up-to-date and you want to use these data you should select the "Desktop overwrite Handheld".
