Wired light is not on HELP please

Since you mentioned tail lights, license plate lights AND inside stereo lights which are not commonly wired to the same connections or fuses, it is possible, that if an after market stereo system has been installed, something that the installer wire is failing, loose, corroded, or just should not have been wired in that manner. Many times it is a bad ground connection. good luck

Right now a single switch turns on both light and fan.
You want to put in a double switch to control light and fan separately.

But the problem is there is not a separate wire to each the light and fan.
You need a separate wire to each, but the circuit wasn't wired that way.
Usually when the circuit is wired for separate control, there is a red wire that also goes to ceiling box.

Unless you run another wire to the ceiling box, it won't be possible to control light and fan separately.

Electrician can do this pretty easily if there is attic space above bathroom.

The fog lights probably are wired to run off the "accessories" fuse. Now that you've rewired your driving lights, do they work? It depends on how the lights are wired. I'd look for another blown fuse somewhere.

I have the same problm. 2 in wall, 4 on timer. And it clicks on and off when set to "on".

The plug on the camper doesn't match the wiring on your truck, when youturn the lights on it is sending 12v to the brakes.

This is the way your trailer plug should be wired if your truck is wired standard.

the two reasons are
1. the cable might be damaged. if so then you cannot get the signal.
2. the light might be gone.

you can check these two errors with the following

start->run->cmd
ping <gateway's ip address> -t

if you get reply then the cable is ok and light gone.
if you don't get reply then your cable might be gone.

white wire cut in half attach white wire to switch both screws attach ground to box blach wire just runs through

its not wired into a wire thats hot with the key off. it must be wired to a wire thats hot 24/7. if you have a test light that would really help..but just hook it into a hot wire and your stations and stuff will stay on there. good luck

Yes, the blue wire is for the light. Just connect it to the hot wire (black).
