Question about Saeco Vienna De Luxe Espresso Machine

1 Answer

Saeco Trevi leaks from "inside"

My Saeco Trevi(like Vienna) leaks from inside to underneath the machine. It seems to only happen when making coffee. If I pull out the drip pan it is quite wet underneath it. The drip pan has a "tongue" on it and wondered if it wasn't seating right but now I think it may be a seal or O ring. Anyone experience this before? I once had a leak from the resevoir, but this is different. Are there "kits" sold with the necessary replacement rings and if so where? Thanks in advance.

What can have happened is that through an overflow of used coffee the hole in the back is stuffed with the ground used coffee. The way to solve this is getting out the brewing group and rinse the hole with water after removing the cloggin coffee residu. You can find this hole just beneath the outgoing axle.

My Saeco Vienna Deluxe has water leaking out from somewhere underneath - clear water.

There are so many places to check, but lets check the small chamber under the white plastic valve, which sits behind the brew unit, clean out the chamber of coffee grounds. If that is not the cause then, you will have to open the machine to find the leak.

My saeco vienna water is leaking out from somewhere underneath

If it is coffee colored water, then remove the brew unit and look under the white plastic valve in the machine, you will notice a small chamber, clean chamber of coffee grounds and make sure the little discharge to the draintray is also clear. Insert brew unit and check machine.

Saeco Vienna grinds too much coffee.

Hi
If you have the Delux or Digital there are 2 knobs in the bean hopper. Turn the small knob back 1 mark and see if that will help.

your problem may be in the watertank. I had that problem, and found out, the metalfeder fastened so it stayed open, after making a cup of espresso.

Resevoir leaking on Saeco Trevi(like Vienna)

Hi,

There are no screw to be removed, you have to take off the plastic ring in the water inlet. Take a screw driver and set it between the chassis and the water inlet.

Hope this will help you.

Resevoir leaking on Saeco Trevi(like Vienna)

Hi,

you have to replace the gasket in your water inlet, if you look where the inlet is you will see there are a little gap between the chassis and the inlet.
Take a screwdriver and bend up the plastic, you will now see the gasket.

The gasket have spare part number: 145842900

Hope this will help you.

SAECO TREVI NO HOT WATER

It would be cheaper to check the thermostat and heating element first and the wiring continuity, although I am not sure if you can find the replacement parts. If you can't, then it looks like you have no choice but to replace the entire assembly.
