Click Start, Run... or press Windows Button and Alphabet R button together. On the run dialog that comes up type the word msconfig This brings up a dialog where you can use the services tab and startup tabs to remove the tick marks from the items like eee pc tray utility to prevent it from starting up again in the next restart. You can also press the end task in the services tab if you want to stop it right now. Removing unwanted items from services and startup tab will give you a faster bootup. You can follow the steps inorder to hide this error from popping up every time :-
RIght click on MY COMPUTER icon > PROPERTIES > ADVANCED tab > ERROR REPORTING (on lower right of the properties window) > Select DISABLE ERROR REPORTING.
Click on "start" then "Run...". In the "Open:" box type in:
msconfig
and click on "OK".
Click on the "Startup" tab and look for a line containing IDTSysTrayApp and/or sttray.exe.
Uncheck the box on that line, and click on "OK", then "Exit Without Restart".
The audio should still work - this just disables the IDT system tray icon.
Most likely a problem with the laptop/windows. The error box you are getting asking about sending a report to Microsoft will only come up when a program ends abnormally. If it happens with just 1 program, it's probably that program having a problem. If every program gets that message, it's probably either a windows problem, or hardware issue.
ok..i understand your concern regards of that. What you can do now is you have to send the error report because this will investigate the Microsoft company about the error of your computer. Do you have an internet connection? try run the liveupdate, I have a suspicion that your laptop was a victim of software counterfeiting (it means that your software maybe not genuine) try to report that to www.micorsoft.com
