Not connecting to computer and froze in docked mode when unplugge

When i connect my zen v plus it doesn't make the sound that it's connected to my computer...also is not detected on my media player...when i unplug from usb cable the mp3 player says docked and wont do anything else...help!!!

I have the same problem: you have to do this:
1) unplug from PC 2) use a clip to insert into small "reset" hole 3) turn on, while you press and hold the play buttom down  4) a new menu pops up: choose "format all" 5) then reboot
6) it is all ready but with non data at all.

Stuck in "docked" mode


Try switching off the MP3 player by removing the battery. Replace the battery and then switch on the player.

My Creative Zen Frozen in Docked Screen


Hello,

The following worked for me. Go to the Creative Zen Support warranty info page of their site:

I ran the recovery tool with my zen connected to the computer and it changed from being in a docked state to updating firmware, after it had done this it worked fine again.

My zen is frozen


try to reload the firmware. download the firmware from creative.com. hold the play button when turn the player on, that will lead you to the recovery mode. chose reload firmware and then connect to your PC. run the firmware downloaded.

mick2a: the screen is gone. you need to replace it.

Charging


if you use the usb cord connected to the computer it will charge( over night), i recommend an ac charger it's a lot faster!

Firmware error on creative zen


Check your LAN settings by going to Internet Options, select "connections" then LAN settings, then check the box that says "automatically detect settings". Click okay, and that should fix your problem. You have that have those options enabled to let some common programs detect your internet connectivity.

Docked?


Try uninstalling and re-installing the software and drivers that comes with the device. The player thinks it's docked but it's not communicating properly to the software because the data on your computer has probably become corrupted from the freeze. Creative Zen V Plus stops reading


· Make sure you have media player 11
· If you can, the best test is to try your player with another PC, to see if you still have the problem. This localises whether the problem is with the PC (most likely the USB) or the player. See the link below (search on "connection problems") for a lot more troubleshooting on this.
· Download recovery tool off creative's website.
