Error Code on EOC F1-E

The service manual for the Jenn-Air JGS8750AD* series says 'Control Not Calibrated' 'Replace Control.' I've replaced the control and get the same error. What is it calibrating? I can find no further explanation of what it is doing. Help & Thanks!

Nope, it clears the code, but then comes back in about 20 seconds.

New front panel (Can't get just the membrane) and the original EOC /ERC board fixed the problem. Replacement board(s) (two) had same error with new front panel, but then the timer and number buttons worked the way they should before it returned the 'F1-E' error.

Frigidaire Mod.FEF369CGTE, F1 and now getting F9 please help

Hi n5my ,

F1 =  Electronic oven control failure
Sol. Replace electronic oven control (also called EOC or clock).

The "F9" error code means the EOC (electronic oven control) has found the lock motor switches to be out of sequence or shorted.

Test switches and if there is nothing wrong then replace the EOC.

both of the error indicates the problem in EOC.

Regards
R.K.

F1 keeps coming on. How do I stop it?

your problem is with the EOC (Electronic oven control) or touch pad if it is seperate from the control...if the touch pad is seperate...unplug range - access the control panel - remove the wiring/tape wire from touchpad to EOC...plug range back in...leave over night...if f1 code comes back it's the EOC...if the error code clears it's the touchpad...replace the part with the problem...if touchpad built into EOC replace the EOC. Hope this helps...if you have any other questions please feel free to comment again.

Instructions for frigidaire oven

an f1 one code means that
Electronic control has detected a fault condition. Turn the Temperature Control Knob to
OFF, and disconnect the power to the range. Wait 30 seconds and reconnect the power.
If fault recurs, disconnect the power and contact an authorized servicer.
You can get all the codes here in the manual.

Electric Range Door Locked after cleaning

"F1" is an error code for any of the following possible problems: Electronic Oven Control (EOC) board. Wiring harness shorted. Defective touchpad on the control board. I speculate that the control board may have failed during the cleaning cycle, causing your problem. Unfortunately, this may be an expensive repair if it is a control board, and it could be maintenance intensive to get to the door latch to release it. You will need to lift the stove top to gain access to the linkage for the oven door relay. There should be a few screws under the top front to remove. Make sure you unplug the unit or turn off the circuit breaker before servicing. I hope this helps you.
