remove the plug from the wall for a period of a few days to allow some of the stored energy to dissipate from the power supply. Plug in and retest the unit to see if it comes on. Also try the remote and the front panel switch to eliminate a remote or remote sensor problem. If the unit does not come back on a fuse could have gone out or the unit could have another type of failure in the power supply circuit. if the unit has another failure you will need to find a replacement power board or have the unit looked at by a technician to narrow the problem down better. Hope that helps.
He was wrong, Sony doesnt have them any longer, But you can get remanufactured ones that have the same warranty as the new ones used to. Check with www.tvrepairworld.com They should be able to get one.
The lamp indicator light blinks red when the lamp is busted and needs replacement. Let me know if it is the case. The status light blinks red when there's a fault detected by the protection circuit and the number of blinks indicates what and where the fault is. Let me know the number of blinks and the exact model of your TV.

The problem you have is with the G1 board. The 17 volts is not
supplied. Do you have a multimeter and know how to trouble shott
following a service manual schematic? if not call a pro to assist you
as this could be the G1 board, but to be sure, you will need to
troubleshoot and check some voltages and follow circuit flow using a
schematic diagram. If you can then let me know..
