Do you mean thermister? And if so, there may be more than 1...
One probably on the main transformer, one on the audio amplifier transistors, others on other transistors that may get hot. Look for heat sinks - they are usually located on top or affixed to those.

good luck

Can anyone tell me where thermostate is on 1988 f150 straight 6

Just follow the upper radiator hose to the housing that it is connected to. Remove the radiator hose, and then the housing itself. The thermostat is under the housing. be sure to remove all the old gasket and install a new one when you put it back together.

I need to know exactly where the location of the thermostate is in my 1994 mazda MPV. Can anyone help me? I am trying to change it.

Follow the lower coolant line from the radiator to the engine and the thermostat will be under that housing. Hope that helps you.

Overheating and blowing cold air. 1999 Grand Prix

It sounds like your water pump may have gone bad. The water pump pushes the antifreeze through the engine, heater core and Radiator which is regulated by the thermostate. Sorry for the bad news but i hope this helps, and Good luck
