Question about Universal MX-900 Remote Control
My mx 900 remote no longer controls the digital set top. it only turns the tv and receiver on/off. i am not able to use the guide or menu at all with my remote. its RF. Please help!
Turn off CPU, Unplug Power cable, And all usb devices, let it sit for about 20mins. Plug it all back in. Turn on the CPU! Also make sure if your device requires "DRIVERS" or if you have a CD download and install that before anything.

You will have to go to universalremote.com and use the Contact Us (top right of webpage). Fill out the form and tell them that you need the editor software. They will have you fax them a form with your remote serial number and some other information and then they will provide you will a link to download the editor software.

I had this same problem with another TV brand, and the answer turned out to be requesting a new remote from Verizon! Got the new remote, ran the programming procedure, and the TV and remote are now "on the same page."
Hope this helps!

Jeff Phillips What I did was connec the soundbar audio directly to the Verizon STB audio out and changed the remote to control the STB volume instead of the TV. Then I plugged the soundbar into the switched outlet on the back of the verizon STB.
