Will uninstalling it create other problems? If not, do I uninstall all of the ones that read Window Live Essentials, Windows Live Sign in Assistant and Up load Tool?.

    Thanks

You don't have to do that, it will work weather you leave it in or out.If you really have to do that, just go into the add/remove programs, and remove it

No, leave them alone it will work fine with as many as you want. If you start deleting things you will end up deleting system files and then nothing will work right

Installing a lifecam nx 3000. get no sound from

Download the latest software driver from the Microsoft web site. Make sure your webcam is plugged directly into the computer and not through a hub or extension cable. Start up the Lifecam software. Using the Lifecam menu (triangle in the upper right corner), set the microphone volume to max via "audio and video settings".

LIFECAM WONT INSTALL RIGHT

Go to the link below and download the latest software for the camera.

http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/download/download.aspx?category=ICE

Uninstall what you have now. Restart the computer. Install the software that you downloaded. DO NOT connect the camera until the installation tells you to do so. Following the installation, adjust the mic and speakers. I have found that it is better to use a headset w/mic rather than a mic and speakers.

Good luck, and please let me know how this works out for you.

OK. I dug around the Microsoft site and got as far as this page. You didn't mention the version of Windows that you have so this is as far as I can get you.

Microsoft lifecam 1000

You can download the driver here :- http://www.opendrivers.com/driver/236296/microsoft-lifecam-nx-6000-vx-1000-vx-3000-vx-6000-driver-1.21-windows-xp-free-download.html
the camera has a built in microphone,so after a proper installation you should have the video and mic funtioning.
but in your case, the cam doesn't work, so you have to try first uninstall the driver >> unplug the camera USB port >> then make a restart >> plud the camera back into the usb >> and install the drivers again.

Microsoft live webcam shows error msg

I have a Work-A-Round so that the end result will provide both sound and
Video using the LifeCam NX-6000 with Windows Live on a
Windows Vista ULtimate 64 bit system, please post your system if
this solution works for you.

I guessed that the error messages, the BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH, and
a long list of conflicts that I discovered with this camera shown that
the sound was conflicting with the video.

Overview
I used manycam for the video and I configured Windows Live to handle sound.
I assume that you can get it to work as long as you split the video and sound
on two different programs.

What I did
I installed the vista driver
http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/download/DownloadResult.aspx?category=ICE&type=Webcams&name=NX6000&os=WVista_32&lang=en
I installed windows live 8.1 (I did configure until after ManyCams)
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=d78f2ff1-79ea-4066-8ba0-ddbed94864fc&displaylang=en
I installed ManyCams
ManyCam Virtual Webcam 2.3.21
http://www.download.com/ManyCam-Virtual-Webcam/3000-2348_4-10593500.html

Configuration
I started ManyCams and configured it to (optionally start on boot) and to
USE LIFECAM NX-6000 as the source.
I then started Windows 8.1 Start > Tools > Audio and Video setup
and configured it to use my
(1) speakers for output sound (Realtek HD Audio) [next]
(2) Microphone Microsoft Lifecam NX-6000 [next]
(3) ManyCam Virtual Webcam [finish]

Reboot, start ManyCam and then start Windows live.

If your still having issues, you may try to disable this service and try again
using the following instructions.
start -> run -> services.msc
then go to Messenger Sharing Folders USN Journal Reader service
click on proprieties and disable it

Ok, thats is what I did and I truly hope that it helps you.
