To clear a carrier jam in this model of lexmark

    1. Raise the scanner unit

    2. Remove any objects blocking the path of the print cartridge carrier

    3. make sure the cartridge carrier lids are completely closed.

    4. close the scanner unit

    5. press ok or "v" type of button.

    6. If the problem is not solved, repeat the above steps, remove the cartridges from the carrier, close the lids without cartridges in them, continue, and press ok.

    7. Now repeat the above steps again and this time reinsert the cartridges into the printer. when done press ok again.

Make absolutely sure there is noting on the way of the carrier.

I keep getting the message failed to create print object Lexmark 6500 series. The specified module could not be found. (126)

It coudl be a printer driver issue. Please follow the steps below to fix the problem.
First, uninstall your existing print driver. On your computer, go to Start menu > Programs > Lexmark 6500 Series > Tools > Uninstall. After the uninstall process, reboot pc when prompted.
Second, visit the Lexmark website to download and re-install the Lexmark X6500 printer driver. Select your operating system > download > execute the file. Follow the instructions on your computer screen.
Lastly, after the re-install process, try to print again to verify that the problem is fixed.

I Got a dell printer and i don't know what to do and in the printer it says Clear Carrier Jam

Turn the printer on.
Lift the lid to expose the print-head mechanism.
The "carrier" is that part of the mechanism that moves the print-head across its range.
Something is physically blocking, or "jamming", that carrier.

Not working see bottom

Check your entire feed to make sure there is NO paper jams. Sometimes even the smallest little piece of paper can get jammed up and can e hard to see.
You can also check your manual for diagnostic mode and alignment print page.

Lexmark 2400 has message saying clear carrier then press start

Good day Sir, Please check the power switch light if blinking.

  • power light blinking slow - printer is out of paper.
  • power light blinking fast - there is paper jam in paper.
  • once, pauses and blinks again - raise the scanner unit, and remove any objects blocking the path of the printer cartridge carrier. Or the print cartridge is missing/ not installed properly. Or the printer cartridge is not the correct type for the printer.
Have a nice day.

Error 1203 and carrier jam error

Error 1203 on a Lexmark is an issue that occurs either when a cartridge is bad or the printer cartridge Slot is bad... I would suggest you to try cleaning the copper contacts of the both carts and cart slot in the printer and try again..

If that doesn't work just call up their support number and check for replacement..
