That is exactly what mine does too! I'm going to try to follow some other tutorials, but all of them seem to assume you already know everything about zip files, which I don't...

Go to the DSTT website and download the firmware.... I am guessing you got it from deal doesnt come with instructions however there is a website on the packaging normally if not google is your freind..... if you cant figure it out you should probably just go buy the games like the rest of the retards....HA

obviously your doing something wrong cause mine works great so I will go step by step so you dont mess it up

    1 - DL file from

2 - extract rar file to folder.....inside that folder you will have an eng folder (this stands for english) inside that you will see 2 files TT menu and TTmenu video put both of these on your micro SD card.

3 - put games on memory card and insert card into DSTT card then into DS & play

    problem solved

on your card it says right? there are 2 different brands.....If your adapter was bad it wouldnt show the red card with question saying would say card.

  • kianta Mar 07, 2009

try that file (there are to versions of this card as I stated chances are that is your problem) your most likely In ownership of the other brand but trying to use cndstt firmware and that would be your problem

I bought an ndstt card. II have bought an ndstt card. I have put some games on a micro sd card and inserted it in my ds but when i switch it on i just get a red picture of the card with a question mark and...

Have you put the firmware onto the micro sd card aswell. You will need this so it will load the games.

If not go to
left click the DOWNLOAD tab along the top of the screen
Scroll down to TTMenu Kernel v1.17, 2009-01-06 new
There should be several languages listed click the English one
then click the save button on the pop-up box. (firmware version 1.17)

Save this to your desktop or where ever you like... Desktop is easier.

You will need to un-zip this file. Then all you have to do is copy the 3 programs onto the Micro sd card.
I would make a NEW FOLDER in there calling it games or something similar... just keeps it tidy.

Then copy the games into this folder.

This should sort your problem out.

I can't find my menu

You can just go to the official manufacturer website and redownload the menu software. I'd recommend reformatting your micro sd card before loading it on. If you get a red menu error then I'm afraid to say you have a fake DSTT .

If you suspect that you have unstable fake clone version you can get a genuine card there too. I managed to find this site after I got burned at a few others. Loved having my emails responded to because I had loads of questions, and they were quick to ship it. They test each card before sending them. US based support and shipping I believe.

My son got a NDSTT and played games on it for a week, now all it says is MENU? on the top screen of his DS - how do i fix it?

What i would suggest is to take the micro sd card and delete the menu folder and the menutt.dat and anything else associated with the main menu settings. Drag and drop the games folder or games and saves to the desktop and then format the sd card in FAT32.

I appreciate this may seem a little extreme but i have had quite a lot of experience with NDS flash cartridges and the problem you describe usually happens when the file becomes corrupt.

Once the sd card is formatted, re install all the nesessary software (you should have these 3 files on the sd card :
TTmenu folder
but, DO NOT put any games onto it until you have placed it into the nds and turned it on allowing the TTcard to build a menu for the games to be loaded from.

Hope this helps

Unable to read DS micro SD card games

Have you installed Moonshell onto the micro-SD card? It has to be there to see the games. If you have Moonshell installed, you should be able to navigate to where you stored your files. Your adapter should have come with a CD with Moonshell on it or you can download a newer version on the internet.
