Have you put the firmware onto the micro sd card aswell. You will need this so it will load the games.
If not go to www.ndstt.com
left click the DOWNLOAD tab along the top of the screen
Scroll down to TTMenu Kernel v1.17, 2009-01-06 new There should be several languages listed click the English one then click the save button on the pop-up box. (firmware version 1.17)
Save this to your desktop or where ever you like... Desktop is easier.
You will need to un-zip this file. Then all you have to do is copy the 3 programs onto the Micro sd card. I would make a NEW FOLDER in there calling it games or something similar... just keeps it tidy.
You can just go to the official manufacturer website www.ndstt.com and redownload the menu software. I'd recommend reformatting your micro sd card before loading it on. If you get a red menu error then I'm afraid to say you have a fake DSTT .
If you suspect that you have unstable fake clone version you can get a genuine card there too. http://www.dscardworld.com I managed to find this site after I got burned at a few others. Loved having my emails responded to because I had loads of questions, and they were quick to ship it. They test each card before sending them. US based support and shipping I believe.
If you are using the sandisk 2 GB with an R4 card it is not possible. R4 cards and sandisk micro sd cards aren't compatible. Buy a Kingston 2GB micro sd card that should then work.I hope this helps you. If is does please rate me.
What i would suggest is to take the micro sd card and delete the menu folder and the menutt.dat and anything else associated with the main menu settings. Drag and drop the games folder or games and saves to the desktop and then format the sd card in FAT32.
I appreciate this may seem a little extreme but i have had quite a lot of experience with NDS flash cartridges and the problem you describe usually happens when the menu.tt file becomes corrupt.
Once the sd card is formatted, re install all the nesessary software (you should have these 3 files on the sd card :
TTmenu folder ttmenu.dat ttmenu.sys but, DO NOT put any games onto it until you have placed it into the nds and turned it on allowing the TTcard to build a menu for the games to be loaded from.
Have you installed Moonshell onto the micro-SD card? It has to be there to see the games. If you have Moonshell installed, you should be able to navigate to where you stored your files. Your adapter should have come with a CD with Moonshell on it or you can download a newer version on the internet.
