Question about Microsoft Windows 98 for PC
I'm not clear what you are looking for here. Windows 98 will run just fine as a stand-alone system, without a modem. If you do desire to install a modem, what you get will be more a function of the motherboard and what it will accept. Chances are, any PCI modem will fit a system that is running Win98, but I don't know that with certainty without more information from you. The challenge you may run into is finding one with drivers for that operating system, since it is 11 years old.
