Question about HP OmniBook 6100 Notebook
I was given a OmniBook 6100 running Windows 2000. They had forgotten the login and PW. How do I bypass this so I can load XP and use it for games?

You have to open the back cover..there u can find a CMOS battery on the motherboard(Round shaped battery).

Tips for a great answer:

If you were to log on to the
manufacturer's web site, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as
usually one is able to download, by model number, Customer
Instruction Manuals, and a list
of Dealers as required.
Just Google the manufacturer's name and
follow the links. Make certain you are directed to the manufacturer's
web site as some search engines direct you to other sites and they
charge for the information that is normally free of charge.
If you download the manual, print it out and there's your hard copy.
I hope this helps.
