Hello, my name is Chris. Scan them to your computer. After they have been scanned, locate the scanned document. Go into your email, compose new message, and than look for an ( add attachment button befor you sent the email.) Locate the document you wish to send in email in the box that appears, and attach. than send.

I2400 scan to email doesn't work


You must have an email program like Outlook installed on your computer. When scan to email is selected it simply opens whatever defaul email client and attaches the scanned doc to a new email message.

How do I scan a document to send in an e-mail with my canon pixma 410 printer


Lift the lid on your scanner lay the photo face down then select scan document/photo it will ask what format you want to scan it then it will ask where you want to save it browse select the file/folder where you want to save it (my pictures) most common. Open up your new email type in the adress then you should see attachment depending on which email you are using select attachment then a browse window will open navigate to your document / attachment select it you might have to wait a few seconds for it to load as an attachment then click send.

Scan the document and save the document as a jpg image file then create your email and attach the jpg image file as an attachment to your email before you send the email.

Can you also Fax with this One Touch 8900 ?


This is only a scanner. To Fax, you will need a separate fax machine or fax modem. If both the scanner and fax machine are connected to your computer, you will be able to scan the document and then fax it from the computer. (Depending on your OS/software, this could be easy or take several steps. For Windows Vista and Windows 7, you can use Windows Fax and Scan to do both steps. (However, the program doesn't scan to PDFs.) Paperport will also send a scanned document to an installed fax option. PaperPort is part of the third-party software that came on the CD with the scanner.)

How do i scan a doocument, and send as e-mail


You need to have scanning software installed on your computer. It usually comes with the scanner or combined scanner/printer when you buy it.
If you do not have it on your computer, look for the cdrom or dvd that came with the scanner.

In most scanning software you have an option to safe the scanned pages as a pdf document.
pdf documents can easily be sent by email.

Scanned document is to large to send via email after it has been saved on computer


There are a couple of things you could do. First, try Pixillon. It will let you reduce your files to smaller sizes. http://www.nchsoftware.com/imageconverter/index.html

However, the idea is to send a link to files and let the receiver download the original. I use Fastmail, which costs me $20 ($40 for deluxe) a year. It lets me save files and receive email both. Try www.fastmail.fm

Hp scanjet G2410 not sending email documents to outlook express


scan using Scanner and Camera Wizard

1.From "My Computer" right click the appropriate Brother FAX, MFC or DCP machine.
2.Select Get picture using Scanner Wizard.

3.Click "Next" at the welcome screen.

4.Select the save options that you require and click "Next".

5.The Wizard will now start to scan using the settings you specified.

6. Select the "Nothing. I'm finished working with these pictures" and click "Next".
The images will then be saved to the the location that you specified in step 4.

later you can attach the scanned file to your outlook express.

To send copy of printed documents to others, follow the steps below.

1. use your scanner to scan your printed documents, save it to jpg format.

2. Use your email to send the pictures.

login to your email
compose or create the message
attached the images
send.

Email preferences scanjet 2400. Only choice on HP solution center is Outlook Express. How or can I use hotmail?


The solution centre cannot send to your hotmail directly because that is an internet browser type email. In order to send a scan through hotmail you have to scan it using the solution centre and save it to your documents. Then open your email and click on the paper clip or attach and pick your scan that you have saved.
