Hello, my name is Chris. This might be because your printer driver is not Vista compatible. Try updating the driver by going to ( start, control panel, administrative options, computer management, device manager.) Look for your printer. It may be in a drop down box. Right click on it and select update driver.

ok...first thing...go to www.hp.com and download a fresh set of drivers for your printer, and then restart it and see if that helps. I have that happen to my G85 whenever the power gets awful(not saying that's your reason, but can be an issue)..

Make sure this printer is selected as the default printer. Check printer preferences to make sure all settings are correct then try printing a test page using the windows software. Hope this helps.
