What antivirus did you install? If it was Norton, then ... well, you see the result. When Norton was "Norton" their tools were excellent, but ever since they were bought by Symantec, the quality has nosedived. Norton security suite is reputed as being a performance killer.

I'd recommend resetting your computer to a restore point prior to the time you installed the antivirus. Uninstall routines are not particularly effective in many (if not most) cases.

1.Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click System Restore.

2. On the Welcome screen, click Restore my computer to an earlier time, and then click Next.

3. On the Select a Restore Point page, select the date from the calendar that shows the point you'd like to restore to, as shown in Figure 2, and then click Next.

4. On the Confirm Restore Point Selection page, verify that the correct restore point is chosen, and then close any open programs.

5. Click Next if you are ready to proceed or click Back to change the restore point.

6. The computer will shut down automatically and reboot. On reboot, you'll see the Restoration Complete page, and then click OK.

I don't know whats wrong whith my internet speed since last summer. My computer downloads diffrent aplications at diffrent speeds.

Speed in downloads and uploads vary hour by hour, day in ,day out, where, when, traffic, connections, etc., etc., etc., can affect the speed. Many, many things affect internet speed, some you can control , some you can't. It may be the ISP , equipment outside, if ALL your equipment is connected correctly, up-to-date, that's about all you can do. It's almost impossible to point at one problem.

No sound pc

You need to install your computer or sound card audio driver or restore it to the point where sound is audible on your computer. To restore your os or drivers to it's original state, you need to click on ( start ). Then click on ( All Programs ). Then click on ( accessories ).Then click on ( system tools ). Then click on ( system restore ). And the last thing you'll do is to select a recently saved restore point of with you think everything is working properly. If this did'nt work, try to download your sound driver to your sound card or motherboard to it's manufacturers web site. Or you could buy Driver magician , driver magician will search and detect all the driver that your computer needs. All you got to do is to select them and then by clicking on download, driver magician will automatically search the internet and download it for you. Have a nice day friend. Hope this would help you much. Have a nice day and hoping this would have good effect on your computer .

My phone dont show miss calls , dailed calls and receive call

HI durqaqrq99....

You Problem is related to virus attack.

Try the following.
*Restore your phone once(To Restore Go to Menu>Settings>Restore Factory Settings>Ok(Default Security code is 12345)>Yes(It takes 1-2mins).

*Scan your phone and memory card from a updated anti virus.

At Last.... if Problem persists.....

You need to flash(format)your phone.

Formatting resets the security code to 12345

(formatting delete all data including messages,contacts,etc... So i suggest you to back up all the files before formatting You can back up file using PC suit)
To back up your files
*Install the PC suit
*open PC suit >Select Back up

To restore Backed up data
*Open PC suit>Tools tab>Restore>Select Restore>select a restore point(restore point is file in which all data's are saved)>Ok and wait for 5-10 mins.

To flash you need

*USB cable compatible with your handset
*A Computer
*PC suite of your handset
*Internet connection(Min speed 1Mbps)
*software updater(you can download by using PC suit)

To flash
*Install the PC suite
*Connect to USB
*Open the PC suit
*Select UPDATE PHONE SOFTWARE(download the Software updater by selecting this option)
*Install the "Software Updater"*Select Update**....(It takes 10-30 Mins)

How do I increase the speed?

there are several ways to increase your computer's speed.
first, find out best anti-virus for your system
second, use (or upgrade =increase your ram size )more then 512 mb ram
third, stop unwanted application on taskbar
fourth, find out these applications which are start with windows and then stop it.
fifth, remove unwanted file from c drive which is usualy we keep for operating system drive, make sure it has enough space or make your drive bigger , at least 20 gb for c
sixth, remove unwanted program from your computer(controlpanel>add remove program)
seventh, scan your computer at leat 5 to 7 days (every week)
last, open only two or three apps at a time if you want, don't open unnecesorry at time, close all these if u don;t need it.
now if you try above things and even after these efforts you need to use new pc.

Recovery...

You don't want to do a eRecovery, eRecovery is used to format the hard drive and install the drivers like you just got it. You want to do a system restore.

1. Click on the Start bar to the bottom left of your screen
2. Select All Programs
3. Select Accessories
4. Select System Tools
5. Select System Restore
6. Click Next
A calender will come up, select the day it was working, probably the day before, click next. After this the computer is going to restart. All done.

Have a nice day!

I just bought hp G50-111NR notebook, I have broadbrand connection with coxTV for my desktop, can I and what do I need to use this connection with my existing one. Can i still use dial-up with it.

set up a home wireless network. read here and this will do what you want, but i would think about converting to dsl or cable for the speed. dial is like crawling, dsl/cable is like flying.

My son is home visiting and cannot connect to our high speed internet. It must be something on his computer, as my computer when I hook it up works just fine. Can you help me out? Thanks... Pat

Hi,

This may be due to many reasons.

Firstly, you may be trying to connect both machines on the net within a short time interval... normally ISPs don't allow this to happen, as they want to connect only one PC to one home type connection. Try connecting your son's PC after disconnecting your PC for atleast 1 hour. :)

Also, try to check the settings on your son's PC...it may not be having proper settings for accepting a new network conenction due to some settings of security softwares installed.

If everything is OK and still you are not able to connect, please don't feel shy to call your ISP for a rational explanation.

bye

Have a nice day
