Question about Pioneer AVH-P4000DVD Monitor
I had my Pioneer AVH-P4000dvd installed at Earmark yesterday. They got the cord for my ipod to hook up. but once i left, the ipod button wasnt available even when i had my ipod connected. the icon was grey. but the ipod came up as EXT1. I can open my ipod through the EXT1 but I cant browse through my songs, pause, or really do anything i should be able to do with my ipod on this radio. i dont know what i should do to fix it. Is there a setting, was it installed wrong. i dont know. help plz
To be working the ipod need to be hook up with the cable cd-1200 (not sold with the avh)and to be plug to the ipod plug on the back of the radio..if you plug the ipod on the usb it wont do..the cable is around 30 $ ..it is the good way to play your ipod ..but if you have a ipod touch 2 generation like i have it wont charge ..if you have any other ipod it will be charging when in use..
