Question about Samsung CLX 3160fn All-In-One Printer
We are getting a "replace waste toner container" message even though we have installed a new waste toner container. The machine is a Samsung CLX-3160 - is there anyway to clear this message??
I have a CLX-2160N and have just emptied my own waste toner container. (Disclaimer: not sure how toxic or environmentally friendly this is).
Emptied carefully and thoroughly (fine dust). Immersed in bowl of warm soapy water, and vigorous shaking to get nice and clean.
Shook all water out well, and dried off as much as possible. Reinstalled. Turned printer back on. Hey presto - seems happy.

I have discover a very simple & cheap solution for this problem. The only thing you need to do is take the waste toner container and empty it, after that you clean the empty waste toner container with water and few drops of diswashing soap. You have to clean it thourougnly so that the container will be clear, shake it up until it is almost dry. Install it back and it will work.
