I have set the required programs with appropriate time and date, but I do not know how to activate the timer so that the VCR record would start automatically on the given time on the given date?

Hi,
Your describe your VCR as a Sanyo VHR "H608". I'm having trouble finding that model. If it was just a typo, and it is a "H607" instead, I can probably help you. Just let me know.
