Question about Casio WK110 Portable Keyboard
Hardly used, After a blackout only static from my keyboard speakers and also headphones. Could it be blown speakers? but why does it do the same thing with my headphones? could it be a some other issue. Casio WK-3500 Keyboard
IT IS POSSIBLE THE SPEAKER SHORTED OUT BUT I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE EAR PHONE AND SPEAKER BEING BLOWING OUT TOGETHER, BECAUSE WHEN YOU PLUG IN THE EAR PHONE THE DEVICE SWITCHS THE SPEAKER OFF AND THE EAR PHONE WORK, YOU CANNOT HAVE BOTH WORKING AT THE SAME TIME UNLESS YOU HAS SOMEONE GO IN THE SYSTEM AND MAKE THAT ADJUSTMENT FOR YOU, THERE HAS TO BE A SHORTED WIRE SOMEWHERE, THE SPEAKER THEM SELF MAY HAVE A FUSE LINK SOME WHERE ELSE IN THE SYSTEM.
I WOULD TRY AND FIND THE SCHEMATICS FOR THE KB, SPEAKERS, MAYBE FRIED ON OF THE IC CHIPS ON THE BOARD. IF YOU FILL CONFORTABLE TAKING THING APART THAN TAKE IT APART AND SMELL AROUND THE CIRCUITS AND YOU WILL FIND WHERE THE SERGE HAPPENED, THAT SMELL LIKE MELTING PLASTIC.
