Problem for Acer AcerScan 310P Flatbed Scanner
Problem with Acer Vuego 310P

Hi all,
Just wondering if any of you ever experience this problem.
Recently, I am resurecting my old scanner .. a Vuego Brisa 310P.
Downloaded the latest driver for XP ... installation went very smooth.
All is fine, until I asked my photo editing software to acquire the image.
Everytime I did that, the Mirascan ... was trying to initialize .. then just
gone.
I set the Paralel port to be SPP , EPP and ECP .. all does not work.
But when I load it onto my laptop which uses ECP port ... it worked
perfectly.
Any idea?

what op system is your Laptop?
Generally scanners that worked under DOS systems Win 95/8/ME- did not convert to NTFS[XP-2000-NT] system because of the internal firmware in the scanner.
There were some dual based ones but I dont think
this scanner was one of them.
in XP- and reset it work the Mircascan as for Win 98- just as trial.

- You could try the program compatability modein XP- and reset it work the Mircascan as for Win 98- just as trial.
