Sounds like there is an obstruction striking or rubbing against the impeller in the drain pump assy. It will require removing the front cover/ Drive belt from the bottom of unit/ Hoses from drain pump (be prepared for the water) a 3/8" socket to remove the pump & a needlenose plier to remove the obstruction... Hope this helps....Bill

In winter the outside unit sounds like a rubbing/ticking noise

Sounds like ice coming of the coil. That would explain the ticking. The rubbing could be ice buildup before the defrost cycle or it's building on the blades of the fan throwing it of balance a bit.

its most likely a bra wire caught in there as the bowl spins around it is hitting the plastic tank therefore making the clicking sound. its super hard to get em out and if it has put a hole in the plastic tank its really expensive to fix call your appliance service asap to have one of them take a look. this is a very common problem from a front load washing machine

Makes growling noises throughout the cycle.

HI. here are the most common issues that will cause a noise during the wash.

* Check the spray arm for damage and obstructions
* Check the inlet filter screens
* Test the water inlet valve(see below for test procedure)
* Check the motor and mounts- The motor may e loose or one of the mounts may have separated form the housing. this will cause mis-alignment.
* Check the fan motor and blade
* Check the drain for obstructions

NOTE

If all checks out above, the culprit will be a cracked pump impeller. this will occur if the drive stud becomes unstable, allowing the impeller to partially separate form the motor spin drive stud. this will cause the impeller to rub or grind during the wash cycle. If this is the case, there are impeller repair kits available for purchase that will correct this issue.

Refrig does not cycle - freezer unit ices

Sounds like you have a defrost control board problem too if your freezer is icing up. The thermostat is what causes your refrigereator to cycle on and off - most common causes is indeed a faulty themostat. On refrigerators with electronic controls, you may have a faulty motherboard. On those with a dial knob with numbers, try slowly turning down the knob so you decrease the numbers. example, if you ahve it set to 5 decrease it slowly to 4....3..etc You should hear a "CLICK" that cycles off your compressor, evap & condenser fans - you may have the dial set too high. If however you go all the way down and it doesn't cycle off unless you completly turn it off to 0, you have a faulty thermostat - if it does cycle off at a very low setting, say 1, your therm is out of calirbation - you would need to change the unit. Make sure the sensor is not obstructed with dirt or foreign objects, if it is obstructed your thermostat will be fooled and think your fridge is not cooling and always stay on. If setting the knob to a lower value, cleaning / removing foreign objects or obstructions does not help you will need service - have them check the thermostat / control board and defrost timers while at it - there should not be frost build up in your refrigerator.

good luck

Load squeal when it in the agitation cycle.

Most noises from a washing machine occur during the spin cycle. If you hear loud thumping during the spin, the load of clothes may have become unbalanced. Stop the washer and redistribute the clothes, then re-start it. Repeat these steps if necessary.

Loud Buzzing noise

Sounds like the fan is hitting some ice build-up. If you can access the area of the fan motor you can try a hair dryer to defrost the ice out of it.

LG Fridge making intermittent sound - like something hitting fan

GAIN ACCESS TO THE FAN IN THE FREEZER(EASIER SAID THAN DONE) AND INSPECT THE FAN BLADE AND FAN SHROUD. HAVE REFRIGERATOR TURNED OFF AND MANUALLY ADVANCE FAN BLADE. WATCH FOR SLIGHT CONTACT BETWEEN THE FAN BLADE AND OTHER OBJECTS NEAR IT-ELECTRICAL WIRING, FAN SHROUD, ICE CYCLE,ETC. ADJUST FAN BLADE OR OBJECT TO INCREASE CLEARANCE.
