Your Samsung phone should have a charger cable that can be used to connect your phone to a computer. If you don't have the cable, they can obtained in any phone service outlet or online. You will be looking for a micro USB to standard USB cable. Your computer should recognize the phone as an external storage unit, similar to a USB flash drive. Navigate to the storage folder on the phone and use copy and paste to transfer the files.
Depending on what you want to transfer, you could also just e-mail the files to yourself and download them with your computer. There is usually about a 10 megabyte size limit for most e-mail client servers so you may have to send multiple e-mails.
You might need to install the driver for you phone. You can find that on google or you can use samsungs software which can be found here:
Disconnec the phone from the PC.
insert the Disc and run and install the Samsung PC Studio on the PC.
Now reboot the PC.
Connect the phone to PC via the USB cable.
And the PC should say SGH G600 connected.
The with the help of file manager on the Samsung PC Studio, xfer the pics to whatever folder you want.
hi sue i have solved this problem. to view pictures, videos and music on your pc, you would have to have a microSD card and the microSD adaptor. you save all of your images, music and videos onto the microSD, then you insert the SDcard into its adaptor then into the pc. Then your files should popup!
What you have to do to put files on your computer or take them from your computer onto your phone is: go onto settings, onto phone settings, onto USB settings and chage it to either mass storage (if you want to put pictures, music and videos on) or media player (to just transfer music). Then plug in the USB cable that came with your phone into your computer/laptop and follow the instructions from there. NOTE: This only works with the Sampsung G600
