Failing power capacitors causing slow start up time and the green tinge points to a failing graphics chipset. The monitor is most likely due to be replaced

My monitor has a blue tinge and no matter what I do to the color settings on the computer and monitor I cannot get the color correct. It either looks blue or sespia.

When you get color casting (red, blue, or green), first place to check will be the video cable and all the pins on both ends of the video cable. Try it on another PC as well to make sure it is not the PC problem.

Crt monitor gradually develops a yellow tinge after being turned on for a few minutes. It fluctuates annoyingly. It is about 4 years old. It is a Samsung SyncMaster 753DFX Crt monitor.

CRT monitors have three color "guns" in them - Red, Blue, & Green. If one of them is starting to go south you will have a tinge as you describe. To make sure it's the monitor, try connecting a different monitor. If the monitor is the problem, it's not worth fixing. Replace it.
If, after changing the monitor you still have a color tinge, you have a problem with your video device in your PC and you need to have it checked out by a PC Technician.

My LG monitor was working fine yesterday. When I turned it on today, the picture had a blueish tinge to it. The color pink looks purple? It also seems dimmer than usual? Is this a problem I can fix by...

More likely the connectors have come loose, check both ends of the video cable.
This is very common symptom (RED,or BLUE, or GREEN cast), but the video card can cause the same symptom also.

Acer monitor color is blueish tinge since starting up this morning. How do I get normal color back?

Blue cast is more likely to be due to bent pin, loose connections of the VGA cable, look for that first. It can be the video card itself, so try it with another PC also.

How long have you had this monitor? Is it a flat panel or CRT? Who is the manufacturer? what type of PC are you using? What type of OS are you running? I can try to answer your question if you answer these?
