Movies/videos are choppy and unwatchable... Only problem with pc.

Try lowering your screen resolution, and don't download / view videos in HD. Test with lower like 480 and maybe 720. Mine can't even handle 720 by the way.

On playbacvk: Intermittent sound and occasional picture droput, even on known good tape. Ran head cleaner tape. No improvement.

This is often caursed by dirt on the capstan that moves the oxide from the tape back onto the heads and bakes hard so these dry tape cleaners wont shift it.
Are you using a shiny type head cart cleaner made of thin tape? if yes get the cleaner tape that is white in colour and like cloth.

DVDs are playing with green tinge

Greetings and Salutations,

If your using the component outputs from your DVD player I would first check to make sure that the cables for the Red and Blue channels are connected properly. If the cable is connected correctly then try replacing both the Red and Blue channel cable. If this fails to fix the problem try connecting to another component input on your TV if you have one available.

You might also want to check to see if you switched on the progressive scan switch on the back of the VCR/DVD unit. If you know someone with another DVD player have them bring it over and see if the problem is still exists.

If the green picture is still present then the problem is and internal problem with the TV and you will need to find a repair center for it. If the problem goes away then the problem is with the VCR/DVD combo unit. You can at this point also try using just the Video Out from the DVD player.

Hope these suggestions will help you with your problem.

Problem with the InFocus IN1 Gaming Projector (when recieved) - No red, constant yellow tinge and constant lines.

It is because the xbox 360 is set to 60hz, change it to 50hz and it will be clear like it's meant to be. However, some 360 games are 60hz so for those games the quality is not good.

Dvd player plays with yellow tinge

If you are using a scart connection, check that it is plugged in fully & straight, also check for bent or missing pins.

Sounds like you have no green input.

56 inch Panasonic Projection TV

Hello stonehor,
Do a quick check on your cable wire. Make sure they are all pushed in properly both on the cable box and on the TV connector. What we have found is that these cable are not pushed in all the way. If this happened on both component input, you may have an open connection further back on that input board.

Best regards

How long have you had this monitor? Is it a flat panel or CRT? Who is the manufacturer? what type of PC are you using? What type of OS are you running? I can try to answer your question if you answer these?
