You may think of getting a newer version of the phone software (firmware).

Such issues will fade away once the phone's software is upgraded to a newer version.

However, I also read that some of the Nokia phones had WiFi issues, such as 5800.

My laptop is connected to murrays wifi but my landlord forgets the password for me to connect my iphone.

He can reset the whole router back to factory conditions including user name and password by holding a reset (may need a toothpick or ball point pen. Google the model number for the manual.

Once reset, set, no other tennents will have acces until they connect with the default network name and password (or new username and/or password).

Unable to access settings of d-link modem dsl-2750u

Your Connectivity may be on Wifi or Lan, ping the gateway and verify gateway IP is up and running if not then try to manually assign the IP to the system and try ping and if there is any proxy Please also remove the proxy from the internet settting and if still problem. Then reset the modem and then also set the IP of your system 192.168.1.2 and access the by default IP 192.168.1.1 and configure the acces point

Can I use AT&T 2701HG-B 2W Wireless Gateway DSL

yes, you can use them together. they'll find each other at protocol layer 2 (bridge) and layer 3 (router),
and route packets appropriately. Check their manuals to make sure that their HTTP management page ip addresses are different - say 192.168.0.0 for one router and 192.168.1.1 for the other - so that you
can manage them separately without disconnecting them.
You'll want to manage them separately to assign them different wireless-N channels. Channel 6 is
the default, and allowing both to compete on the same channel is a bad idea - give each its own
wi-fi channel. There are 11 wireles 802.11n channels, labeled 1-11.

Diagram: DSL === AT&T 2701HG-B ---------- NetGear router --------------- desktop computer

Each link in the diagram above is an ethernet (802.3 10baseT) cable (except the DSL cable,
which is twisted pairs), and wireless devices can
hop onto the Internet by wirelessly connecting to either the AT&T 2701 or the NetGear router.

I need to change the password for the wifi

Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link. http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.15.1 or http://192.168.2.1 If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it. Then it ask for user name and password. Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank. Then you can see configuration page of router. Then click on wireless ->wireless security then enable WEP then enter new password save settings and restart router. Then you can connect wifi with that new password. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks for using FixYa.

Dynamode Internal Fax Modem 56K

i had same problem trying to receive faxes until i changed phone connections.

according to a motorola manual (link below) this has something to do with being connected to a "proper analog phone line".

i had the phone line running from wall to a newer gateway (maybe 8 months) dec 07 to a maybe 2 year old compaq. kept getting that loop current error on the compaq when trying to receive a fax until i elimated the gateway connection and plugged the wall right into the compaq.

here's a link that might help: http://downloadmirror.intel.com/12655/ENG/Motorola.htm

see section 6, troubleshooting. hope this helps...
