How do I pay mortgage payment on line

Note: The names of the fields and controls on your bank's website may not be the same as the ones I've used. If you can't find the exact name, look for something similar

Set up where your payments will go.
  1. Make sure you have the name of your mortgage company and your account number.
  2. Go to your bank's online banking website.
  3. Open the Pay Bills page
  4. Open the Payees page
  5. Select Add a New Payee
  6. Look on the Payee List for the mortgage company
  7. If you find it, select it and enter your account number. If you don't find it, go to your bank branch and ask for help.
Make a payment
  1. Go to your bank's online banking website
  2. Open the Pay Bills page
  3. Select Pay a Bill
  4. Select the mortgage company from your list of payees
  5. Enter the payment amount
  6. Enter the date the payment is to be made. If you're making the payment now, you can probably leave the date blank.
  7. If the page allows paying of more than one bill at a time, there may be a box your have to check next to the payment entry you have made
  8. Click the Confirm Payment button.

WHERE IS nATIONS bANK

In 1998, it acquired BankAmerica Corporation of San Francisco in what was the largest bank merger in American history at the time. Although NationsBank was the nominal survivor, the merged bank took the better-known Bank of America name, and operates under Bank of America's charter. However, to this day it is headquartered in Charlotte at what is now Bank of America Corporate Center, and retains NCNB/NationsBank's pre-1998 stock price history. With this merger, all of NationsBank's holdings, including some of the tallest buildings in the nation (like Bank of America Plaza in Atlanta and the Bank of America Corporate Center) took Bank of America's name. McColl became president, chairman and CEO of the merged company. In 2001, he handed these posts to Ken Lewis, also from the NationsBank side of the merger; he began his career at NCNB in 1969. Lewis stepped down in 2009 and was replaced by Brian Moynihan--marking the first time that the bank hadn't been led by someone with roots in NCNB/NationsBank. I need to make a funds transfer

Wire transfers are used to transfer funds through an electronic payment service.
Sometimes, companies make wire transfers to quickly pay suppliers.

The process requires a small amount of paper work.
Wire transfers involve transferring money from a company's bank account into the supplier's bank account.

The funds are available within a few minutes after the process is initiated.
Get recipient information.

Get documentation from the intended recipient that contains his name, company name, company address, bank account number and routing number.

Acquire the information via fax. If a mistake is made, the fax will prove that the information was supplied by the recipient.

Inform the bank officer that you would like to make a wire transfer. If you have never sent a wire transfer, it is best to go to the bank to complete the first wire transfer transaction.

Future transactions can be initiated via fax or though an online banking system. Provide your banking account information.

Expect the bank officer to ask for identification prior to processing the initial bank transfer.
She / He will want to confirm that you are authorized to make a wire transfer from the company bank account.

She / He will then access your account information to confirm the availability of the amount of the wire transfer.

The bank account number, routing number and company name will be listed on the wire transfer request.

Tell the exact amount of money to be transferred.
Make sure the amount is accurate.

Once the money is transferred to the recipient's account, you will not be able to make corrections without the help of the recipient.

For example, if you wanted to send $5000.00 but a mistake was made but instead $6000.00 was transferred, the recipient would have to initiate a wire transfer from his bank in order for you to get the $1000 that was sent by mistake.

Provide the name and address of the recipient.
If a company is the recipient of the funds, provide the company name and address.

Provide the bank account number of the recipient.
Provide the routing number of the recipient.

Review the wire transfer document for errors.
Prior to approving the transaction, check all of the information.

How do I cancel direct debits

When subscribing to services or products that require a monthly payment, it can sometimes be a hassle to keep contacting the service provider each month to make your payment.
If you are like many individuals, you will opt to have the payments automatically deducted from your banking account.
While this automatic debit option may seem momentarily convenient, in the long term it can be risky.
Even if you are no longer receiving the products and services, some companies will continue to debit your account.
If you have decided that you no longer want the automatic debits from your bank account to be made, there are easy resolutions to stopping the payments.

Call the customer service telephone number of the company that is making the automatic debits from your bank account.
If you don't have a telephone number for the company, visit the company's website and look for the "Contact Us" link.
Most legitimate companies will have contact information on their site.
Select the option to speak with a billing or sales representative.

Advise the company representative that you no longer want the automatic debits to come out of your bank account.
Be sure to get the representative's name and a confirmation number just in case you later need proof that you did call in and make the cancellation request.

By Mail

Write a cancellation letter to the company stating your desire to stop the automatic debits.
Be sure to include your account number on the letter as well as your signature and the date the letter was written.

Make a copy of the signed letter for your own records.

Mail the cancellation request letter to the company that is deducting the automatic payments from your bank account.
If you don't have the mailing address, you can visit the company's website or contact customer service to get it.
Note that some companies require that your request be submitted within a certain amount of days before the next billing cycle.

Through Card Issuer

Contact your bank or the financial institution that provided you with the debit card if you notice that the automatic debits have not stopped.

Ask the bank representative to place a block on your account or debit card so that the automatic debits are stopped.
There may or may not be a fee assessed by your bank to initiate the block.

Request that your banking institution completely cancel your debit card if the option to place a block on the card is unavailable.
After your old card is cancelled, your bank will issue you a new replacement card.
Ask for the bank representative's name and a reference number for your own personal records.

Printing checks

Intuit programs are designed to print on pre-printed checks which already have that information on them, not to blank check stock.
In the past, the routing number, account number and such were printed with a magnetic ink. This allowed the banks processing computers to read the information correctly for faster routing.
