It will be the fuse agin most likely.
All lint and obstructions must be cleaned from the dryer exhaust system and the attached vent hose.

Need a model number for the fuse location.

FIND THE THERMAL FUSE AND OVERLOAD PROTECTOR 0N THE QUIET SERIES200 MAYTAG DYER-I SMELLED BURNING WIRES BEFORE THE DYER SHUT DOWN AND WOULD NOT START AGAIN

If you can't find or follow the wiring diagram and have or use a tester you shouldn't even be trying to fix it. Find a parts breakdown and then the location of the parts should be pretty easy to find.
assuming the motor is shot is not the way to go about a repair.
goin for the plug with the diagram to find the problem with the correct meter for the task before you.

Dyer would not work when on extra dry setting. when put on time setting it worked for a few months now it does not stat at all. by passed thermal fuse and still nothing

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

If you have already cleaned the vent then the problem is with the Thermal fuse. When the thermal fuse goes bad it cannot be reset and replacing it is recommended repair. It is located on the blower wheel housing inside the rear panel to the exhaust duct. You can test it for continuity before replacing. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Dyer is spinning but not getting hot

There is a few things that will cause this to happen.Be sure to check and make sure there is proper powr to the unit by checking the wires on the terminal block make sure there is 220 volts.

Next you need to check the continuity on the heating element and all the thermal fuses located near the heating element, fing the one that has no continuity and replace it.

Dryer suddenly stopped working and won't start again!

Hi,
On many dryers, there's a thermal fuse (a heat-sensitive fuse that blows if the dryer overheats) mounted to the exhaust duct inside the back cover panel. The fuse is about an inch long. It's usually embedded in black resin and mounted in a white plastic housing.

If the fuse has blown, it has no continuity. When this happens, your dryer either just stops heating, or it doesn't work at all. Be sure to inspect the venting/heating system before replacing the fuse to put the dryer back into operation. (You can't re-set this type of fuse.)

Thank you!

Dyer is not heating up.it turns on and runs but it just does not heat up i took off hose and clean . also looked in back of dyer by taking off clover to look for fuse please help .

Kenmore dryers have what we call a thermo fuse, usually on top on the burner area - I would check continuity on this unit and replace if nesessary.
If the thermo fuse is okay and dryer heats up with gas, check your igniter and/or gas unit coils.
If dryer heats up with electric elements check continuity at both element ends and/or high limit thermostat.

GOOD LUCK!

Dyer not working

Most likely a faulty heating element or a blown thermal fuse. Both components can be tested using a multimeter. Test for continuity. A lack of resistance indicates a bad component. The thermal fuse located just inside the rear of the dryer and is usually mounted on the exhaust duct. It is about one inch long. If it has no continuity, the thermal fuse is blown. Hope this helped and best wishes.

The fuse is located on the rear pan here the heater is. Remove the screws holding down the top and then you can raise the top up and get the front off. the fuse part number WE4X800 looks like this:
