Re: freezer and frige got power but dial wont work
It sounds like possibly your thermostat (dial) is broken. You could probably find a compatible thermostat at RECO or TECSA or any refrigeration spares shop. Makes sure you have unplugged the fridge, then remove the covers over the dial, either take a snapshot with a camera of the wiring side of things so that you can refit them correctly. Take the thermostat with you and the shop can confirm that they can supply the same type or a compatible. Be sure to let them check that the connections on the compatible (even if they look like they are in the same position) have the same function as the original.

alot of times if your frige is not cooling but the freezer works good most of the time all you need to do is defrost the whole frige for atleast 3 hours if that dont do the trick you may have to replace your thermostat timer that is connected to the dial in top section of the refrigerator sometimes it is turned up to high
Two things to check: 1.) Check to see if condenser coil is clean, it may be packed with dirt. This is the coil located under the refrigerator. 2.) The defrost heater may have burned out causing the breaker to trip. This heater is located on the evaporator coil located inside the refrigerator.
Inside the fridge compartment, at the back, is a panel that can be removed, remove the screws careful with the bulb, its plugged in behind the panel.
the panel has a vent that allows cold air flow from the freezer, this will often freeze completely shut with ice. let it thaw out, then check to see that the vent opens, or closes when you turn the dial, the best thing is to open it as wide as possible, I even used toothpicks to open the valve even more, its just a thin flap, surrounded by Styrofoam.
afterwards if your fridge is too cold, adjust the real thermostat located in the freezer.
Turn the refrigerator temp control down try factory setting, usually c on frige and 3 on freezer control. The cold air circulating from the freezer enters at the top of the frige therefor it is usually colder.
Hi, I looked up your model and it shows a filter. It appears to be inside a small box. I have never seen one like this. Is there any kind of box inside the refrigerator or underneath?
Let me know if this helps.
