Question about Acer Aspire 3680-2633 Notebook
Please help me step by step on how to reformat/change the OS of acer aspire 3680-2633 from Vista to XP
You need to have an XP OS disk and if you already have it then:
insert it in CD/DVd drive
then restart your Laptop
once you see black screen then you can seen there
so you need to press enter before it crosses 5 seconds.
once you hit enter it takes you to next screen (blue)
do nothing until you see Agreement page once you see the page
then hit F8 to accept agreement and follow the instructions shown on screen.
once you reach formating page now choose one option which you want to do then formate it.
once your formate is completed the primary files will be copied in to your drive and once it done your system will be restarted.
but this time let 5 seconds pass (do not hit any key just keep watich until it crosses 5 seconds)
now your OS installation begins and it takes about 39 minutes.
you may be asked to choose language during installaton for just choose whatever language you want and you will be prompted for product key so keep ready your product key.
Note: if your system does not automatically detect the CD or DVD then you need to setup Boot from CD first On BIOS.
how to do it?
Reboot your mechine press the key which you see on screen (Mostly, F2 , F9, F10 and F12) and once you reach on Bios mode then select the boot device options and select Boot from CD as First (generally Boot from HDD is setup as first so) and once you are done with it just save changes (F10) to exit and reboot the system (this time i will detect automatically your OS disk).
Good Luck and vote all questions.

Tips for a great answer:
Download the drivers from the Acer WEB site. Make sure you
select the model of your laptop and the XP or Vista version of the drivers you
that require and it matches the Windows version that is installed on your
laptop. Use this link to get to the Acer support: -
