Question about Acer Aspire 5100 Notebook
Plz help me...
There are 2 ways you can eject the DVD tray,
1st, double click on computer, right click on the DVD icon and select "eject" from the sub menu.
2nd, find a paperclip and straighten it, have a close look at the DVD near the eject button, you will find a small hole, poke the paperclip in and manually eject the tray.
Good luck and thanks for using Fixya!!

Sometimes the hook that retains the tray will not release unless the tray is pushed inward slightly while trying to eject - poor design.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
