Question about Intel Motherboard
SIR MY PC IS CPU : AMD (AuthenticAMD)Identifier: x86 Family 6 Model 8 Stepping 1ProcessorNameString: AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2000+WITH RAM STIC 128 AND 256. WITH WINDOW XP SERVICE PACK 3 . I HAVE SCROLLING PROBLEM AND SPEED IS VERY LOW AND HANGING PROBLEM.
When you say it "hangs", are you referring to the refresh rate of the screen taking a while to catch up to the scroll rate of your mouse wheel? Does the screen look large and without a lot of color depth? If you check the device manager, does it display Display Adapter as a yellow question mark?
To find the answer to the last question, go to Start -> Control Panel -> System -> Hardware -> click Device Manager button.
Everything displayed in yellow means there is no driver or a driver problem preventing that device from working correctly. If this yellow mark is next to the display adapter, you do not have drivers for your display adapter and you would need to download them.
If none of the above are applicable do the following to change the speed of the mouse scrolling:
Start -> Control Panel -> Mouse -> Wheel tab and change the number of lines scrolled when using the mouse wheel.
