Hi im josh in cebu phils.may i help you? friend try to use thse things. The first item to check is whether your printer is connected correctly to your computer. Check the connecting cable to make sure that the connections are tight. You also should unplug each end of the cable to ensure that none of the connecting wires are bent, making a bad connection. You might also want to change the printer cable. Cables can get old, and the wires inside can break; try a new cable and see whether this change fixes the problem.
caution
Next, you should make sure that the printer is connected to the correct port on the back of your computer. Checking the port connection is not always as simple as it seems. Some computers come with more than one printer port, and your printer might be hooked up to the wrong one. If you have multiple printer ports, try plugging your printer into the other ports.
Next, check the paper feed of your printer. If you're out of paper, your printer can't print. You also should check the paper path inside the printer to make sure that no stray pieces of paper are lodged inside. Make certain, too, that your printer is online, or set in the on position.
You should also check to see if your printer is paused. Check your front panel buttons to make sure that your printer is online. You should also double-click the Printer icon in the Windows system tray to open the Print Manger and make sure the job isn't paused from within Windows.
Another potential cause of this problem is having the "manual feed" option selected in Windows or on your printer. If this option is selected and there is no paper in the manual feed tray, your printer just sits there waiting for someone (like, oh, you!) to insert some paper. The solution to this is to either add some paper to the manual feed tray or switch off the manual feed option.
It's also possible that you have the wrong driver installed or selected within Windows. Right-click on this printer's icon in the Printers window and select Properties. Check the Details tab to make sure you're printing to the correct port using the correct driver. If you need to change drivers, pick one from the pull-down list, or click the New Driver button to add a new printer driver.
note
It's possible that the correct driver is installed, but something has gone screwy with how Windows reads the driver information. Go to the Printers Window and delete the current printer, and then use the Add Printer Wizard to reinstall the printer driver. You might also want to check with your printer's manufacturer to see if there is an updated version of your driver available.
In addition, it's possible that a recently installed device has somehow mucked with your printer configuration in Windows. Try deleting your printer driver and then reinstalling it, as described in the previous paragraph. Because the last device installed on your system can overwrite previous configuration information, go ahead and make your printer the last installed device.
If none of these suggestions solves your problem, you're looking at a major computer or printer problem. Try hooking up another printer to your computer; if the new printer works, it's time to take your old printer into the shop. If the new printer doesn't work, you probably have a defective port in your printer. good luck hope i helped you.

I have installed new cartridges but paper comes out blank

Hi Khalid,
Make sure your printer is set as the default printer on your PC.If you were printing many pages, try selecting the current or the page with the text only and try to print it.Check paper size settings, orientation, layout and printable area in your software and make sure they're in line with the paper you're using. If problem not solved, then you may need to clean the printhead to unclog the nozzles so that they enhance smooth flow of ink.
  • Connect the printer to the computer and turn it on.
  • On the taskbar of your PC,right click on the printers icon.[If there's no icon,go to your printer properties window and then click on the maintainace tab.Select on the head cleaning option].
  • Select 'start' on the headcleaning pop up window that will appear.
  • The printer will starting making noise and the green light will start to flash.
  • After the cleaning the green light will stop.Select 'print nozzle check pattern' and then click on print.[make sure there is a loaded paper in the tray].
  • Check the printouts. If gaps and lines appear on the paper, click 'clean' and if they're ok,click 'finish'.
Hope this helps.Thanks!

HP Laser Jet 1320. Orange light next to triangle symbol keeps flashing. This began after a paper jam. I cleared the paper jam but can not get the light to stop and so it wont print. I have shut it off...

The Amber light is designated as the "Ink Error" light. With regards to a Hewlett Packard printer, the Amber light is indicating that one of the Ink Cartridges (Tri-Color/Black) is empty, defective, unrecognizable, or just simply needs to be changed. The procedure is; lift up the front cover, look at the Black Ink Cartridge, and examine the Ink Level Window on the Cartridge, located at the center of the Cartridge. If the square window appears to be a solid Green then that means the cartridge is completely full. If it is Half Green/Half Black then it is indicating that the cartridge is half way full, and if the square window is completely Black, then the cartridge is completely empty. Also, remove and examine the Tri-Color Cartridge. If the Tri-Color Cartridge feels very light or if the Tri Colors on the bottom of the Cartridge appear to be discolored i.e. All Magenta, All Cyan, or All Yellow, then the Cartridge should immediately be changed. After replacing the Black or Tri-Color Cartridge, your printers Green Power Light will flash and allow you to continue your print job
You can also try:
Clean the cartridge and carriage contacts with a cotton swab moistened with water. If you have refilled the cartridges don't assume that they will still work. If cleaning doesn't help you may have a failed cartridge even if it is not refilled.
If you are getting a grinding noise, clean the carriage rod with alcohol and lubricate it with a few drops of Tri-Flow, available in 2 oz. squeeze bottles at cycle shops.

If I have helped please rate my post...I will always do my best to help
