Question about Sony VPL CS5 Multimedia Projector
When I switch on my Sony VPL-CS5 the lamp turns on and everything appears normal, but pressing the Menu button will not display the menu. Pressing the Input button shows nothing either. All that is being display is a bright white light like the projector is a rectangular torch.
Please could someone advise what is wrong?
Give input signal to the projector and see that if the menu appears or not on the screen.
if menu comes on the screen then put the backgroung color to blue, instaed of black.
if nothing comes on the screen, then the LCD panels are faulty.

Using the remote commander while the unit is powered up, press "ENTER", "ENTER", "LEFT"
and "ENTER" in sequence. A prompt will appear on the screen asking if you wish to enter the factory mode.
Press the "UP" key on the remote and the unit is now in service mode. This sequence will add two new groups
to the customer setup menu. Press the "MENU" button to view.
Whenever the lamp is replaced, the lamp timer should be reset. With the unit in the "factory" mode, press
"RESET", "LEFT", "RIGHT" and "ENTER" on the remote commander. Verify the lamp hours have been reset to zero in the service menu.
Hope it helps,
