Question about Texas Instruments TI-83 Plus Silver Edition Calculator
How do I get it to function? I changed batteries and still it doesn't turn on. I know when I had a problem with my cartridge video game system I was told to rub an eraser on the metal contacts. Should I open my calculator and rub it's metal contacts when an eraser? The calculator is a TI-84 Plus Sliver Edition
Your only hope is to open the case and wash out all the coffee with plain water. Don't forget to clean all the keys and switches under them. Dry and reassemble. This is a last chance procedure and may fail.
Don't spill liquids on electronic gadgets as the result is either much work or must replace.
