Printing by SHARP AR M161 on Mac 9.2.2.

I need help installing the printer on Mac 9.2.2.
Everytime i print, a message printed " Post script printing is not licenced for this printer".
The printer equipped with AR NB3 and AR EB9, i tried to print on Windows XP there's no problem.
Do I have to purchase the optional AR PK1 post script expansion kit ? If I do, how to install it ? because this option has a product code and i have to input the product key. I allready explore the user and key operator program but there's no place to input the product key.

Please help.

Thanks
Budi

Go to printer setup and click on new printer. You should get a long list of printers. Hopefully yours is on the list. Click on the printer name and you will be presented with several drivers. Choose the one that is the best for you. Before you exit print a test page. Give the printer a name.
If this does not work you will have to install the windows driver. This is only possible If your Mac can run windows software.

My SHARP AR-M276 Printer keeps displaying PageError: PostScript printing not licensed for this printer, after downloading and installing the driver. How can I rectify this?

PS license is sold separately as an option for the Sharp Copier. You can contact your Authorized dealer. Or use a PCL6 or PCL4 Driver. If you are having issue printing from a mac then depending on the version you will need postscript, or an aftermarket PCL generic Driver made for macs.

Hello good time for you I have a AR_M205 GDI Model but I want to have Post Script printing what must I do . with a lot of thanks

The Sharp copiers don't come with Post Script enabled, you have to purchase the licence from a reseller or dealer.

Printing from a mac OSX.5.8 to a Sharp copier AR BC320?

You will need to purchase the Post Script Driver for that model. Sharp Copiers require a product key code to enable post script on their copiers. A sharp dealership will have to sell it to you as well as to get the product key code for the postscript driver.

Sharp AR - M161 Copier Driver for Vista

There is a vista driver available for that model as long as you are talking about the M161 not 161. Do you have the optional print kit installed or only parallel interface. If you only have the parallel connection it requires the GDI driver which can be downloaded from Sharpusa.com under support then type your model and select OS and driver type GDI

Hope this helps,

Sharp MX-4501N Mac drivers 1.1 will not hold black and white colour setting in printing profile (save as)

You are using Bonjour to print to the MX-4501N which uses a generic post script driver. To fix this, you must install the printer using the proper driver from Sharp. For a first time install, download the drivers, install the drivers, restart, and install the printer as an IP printer, specify the IP address, it should be using the LDP (Line Direct Printing) protocol, and specify any additional optonal accessories you have on your MX-4501N. Hope this helps :)
