Question about Pioneer DVR 104 (DVR-104MF) DVD-RW Burner
A batch of Pioneer DVDRW back from 2004/2005 seem to fault after an unspecified amount of time passes by. I had one of those myself, but still keep since it reads normal DVDs perfectly. If you have access to another PC you could try swapping the DVDRW and see if it works normally on that PC (instead of going the lengthy way of backing up/ formatting your PC.) If it does not work, time to move on and buy another one.
