Please help me,my problem is here windows media player was not function or cannot to play, my mother board is NVIDIA GeFORCE 2 MX/MX 400 LG IBM,I used operating system windows Xp service pack 3

you will need to either install a codec pack to play properly or reinstall the media player itself.

You may also try VLC player that supports a lot of different formats

Besides Windows Media Player - is there any other media player or jukebox that will work properly on XP Prof??

There are many Media Player like, VLC, MPCSTAR, WinAmp that is WinXP compatible.

You can also install the codec eg. K-Lite Codec Pack or K-Lite Mega Codec Pack @ http://www.free-codecs.com/index.htmwhich will play most of the video/audio formats.

Hope it helps.

I want to download media player11in xp. is at possible

Hello,

Yes that is possible. Windows Media player 11 works on all Windows XP SP2 Editions. Please use following link for your download...

Microsoft Windows Media Player 11 XP Download

Since the Microsoft Site detects which OS you are using, it would be recommended to initate this download within a XP installation.

I dont have win xp svc pack 2 cd and i wanted to install my windows components back

Download servicepack 3.
Be sure not to have Norton installed.
If so use special Norton removal from symantec.
Never use Norton with SP3. Get Avast for instance.

Windows media player problem.

ok, take a hammer.. just kidding..
First thing to do is goto www.windowsupdate.com and download the lastest service pack (3) then download the latest media player.

this should fix the issue. or try www.iobit.com and use system care 3 it fixes most registry problems in microsoft apps.

Hi there
Is this problem with windows media player only or with rest players also.
You try to repair your media player using your XP installation CD and then install a good codec pack such as XP codec pack or K-Lite codec pack. These are available for free .
Hope this works for you.

Waiting for your thanks.
