Hi im josh in cebu phils.may i help you? friend try these solutions i gathered; Let's look at the simple stuff first. Is the card installed properly in your system unit? Have you connected the audio cable from your sound card to your CD-ROM/DVD drive? Are speakers (or headphones) hooked up to the card? Are the speakers plugged in and turned on? (And are they plugged into the correct jack? You don't want to plug your speakers into your microphone jack!) Are you performing a task on your PC that actually produces sound? Is the volume turned up loud enough (both on your speakers and in Windows)?
Okay, now that the easy stuff is out of the way, let's turn to something more difficult. The most likely cause of no sound is some sort of conflict. One by one, change your card's DMA, IRQ, and port settings. (This might entail resetting some jumpers on the card itself, as well as making some software-based changes.)
This problem can also occur if you add a new sound card to a system that has sound capabilities built into the motherboard. You'll need to disable the onboard sound before the new sound card can work. thats all for now good luck.

I had an emaxx motherboard model MCP61M-iCafe if I insert any video card it gives no display on the monitor. If I remove the Video card it's ok please help me

Assuming the computer is powered off and you confirm the card is properly seated and the video cable (vga, DVI, or HDMI) is snugly plugged in, it's going to be a driver issue. I would do the following
  • plug in the card
  • keep the video cable plugged into the onboard video
  • boot up
  • install the drivers
  • reboot and plug into the new card

I need to down load my sound card driver..how can i down load it for free?

Yes you can download your sound card driver for free. But, you'll need to know the specific model of your sound card, or better yet check the model number of your motherboard. Usually, the sound card driver is provided in the website of your motherboard's manufacturer. Once you find the model number of your motherboard, search for it in the manufacturer's website (e.g. Intel, Emaxx, Gigabyte, ECS, Redfox, MSI, etc..) and you should be able to download the available drivers.

No audio device installed.no audio or sound

Hello,

If you have a sound card, you will need to install the drivers for your model sound card.

If the card is built in to your motherboard, then you should look up the chipset for your motherboard, it will include the drivers for yuor sound card.

Thanks,

Pat

I dont have sound

Good day sir, sound problems solutions could be any of the following:
  • You did not install a sound card, the enlight enpc has no built in sound port, so you need to install one, I recomend Creative Labs or Realtek sound card, (any sound card will do if you like).
  • If you buy one, there is a CD driver, use the CD to install the sound card driver files.
  • Or buy a USB sound card. (as long as you are using the XP windows version for compatibility.
Install the sound card on any available PCI slot and use the CD to install the driver. thats it!

Sound card Problem

generally when you install any drivers , after installing successfully the system will restart. i think you are not installing your correct sound drivers. Install your sound card drivers from the motherboard CD. If you lost your motherboard CD , then go to this website www.drivermax.com . Install the software,it will automatically detect your hardware devices and installs the correct drivers .
