I am bad about recording over DV tape. I am currently using Panasonic
DVM60.
Camera's are the XL1 & GL1. During the past few days I have recorded two
programs that have mixed shows on them. The first 3 to 6 minutes have
the old program on it and then you get bars that have past program and
the current recorded one. Eventually the new program takes over. Has
anyone had this problem. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

had the same problembut no solution as of yet...did you also get choppy
(sometimes non-existent) audio? i'd be curious...because I've used the same
panasonic tapes as well.
as of now...i don't reuse the tapes do to my problems up to this point.
perhaps erasing them before hand is an option...but how would one do that?
