By left clicker, I assume you mean the left touchpad button? They CAN fail, but replacement can be costly if the notebook is out of warranty. You can always buy a PS/2 or USB mouse and plug it into the back of the notebook.

My left clicker button has stopped working?

Yes, the switch part can fail. Repairing the motherboard can be labor intensive and costly. U might just want to consider using a usb mouse to work around the issue.

Neither the hand-held "clicker," nor the buttons

To be absolutely sure, I would need to know the model number/name near the handle. If it is old as you say, it is probably a broken Cycle Solenoid LINK. If this link breaks (it happens A LOT on older projectors) the cycle function will not work. This is a pretty difficult repair and subsequent adjustment. You can still get the parts online at: www.microtools.com I believe they send install instructions with the parts. If you don't feel comfortable with the repair, you should contact an authorized warranty service dealer. Good Luck !

THe same thing happend to me just now grrr......
I'm really not a technology expert or anything but, when I looked inside of the the "button" I saw a small scratch on the green and gold plate. Did you perhaps notice anything like this? I'll probably have to replace it or something........

But seriously, I hope this problem is solved soon.......

My mouse won't right click. it was working all day and now suddenly it won't work

Sometime a piece of dirt gets caught in between the clickers - so to speak, It usually fix's itself and comes lose. If you want a quick fix use a can of compressed air to clean it:))))

Universal garage door remote

I have a feeling your neighbor operated their door opener when you were programming your new clicker. Try erasing the memory of your opener and then program the clicker again making sure your neighbors do not operate theirs at the same time. To erase the memory hold the smart/learn button in for 10 seconds.

Left click is broken

Actually, first you should try taking the mouse open and cleaning the sensor clicker thing or whole mouses insides, I had similar problem before, that fixed it for me.

Other option which I haven't tried and am not sure if works, you could try to move one of the side buttons that you don't use sensor to the place of the left mouse button. This I HIGHLY advice against tho since this might break down the mouse totally.

Then again if it comes down to not properly working mouse and you have to get new one versus broken mouse and you have to get new one, you have nothing to lose.
