Hi,
Have you tried double clicking the title bar at the top of the window.
Pressing the F11 key to turn off full screen mode
Closing the window by double clicking the top left corner or by pressing the Alt F4 keys.

Hope that helps

HOW DO I FIX LOST MAILS TOTALLY AFTER USING REPAIR TOOL?

It seems that the dbx file size is reduced either because: 1. The repair tool modify and reduce its size, remove the emails. or 2. The last time when you restart Outlook Express, it reduce the dbx file size and remove the emails. If you still have the original large dbx file, then you can recover all the emails inside it with OE-Mail Recovery at http://www.oemailrecovery.com/inbox-repair.html
This tool will never modify the original dbx file, instead, it will output the recovered emails into an output folder so that you can either open or import it back to Outlook Express. If you do not have the original large dbx file, then it is still possible to recover your emails. As long as you have stored the .dbx file on your local disk or drive, the email data may still exist on your disk/drive. You can you can search Google utility to scan the whole disk/drive and recover the emails for you.

How do i reset my email fonts

Changing font size for reading in Outlook and Gmail

To read Mail in a larger font in Outlook:
  • Hold down Ctrl while turning the scroll wheel on your mouse down.
In Outlook 2007 and later, alternatively
  • Open the message in its own window.
  • Click Other Actions.
  • Select Zoom... from the menu.
  • Choose the desired zoom level.
  • Click OK.
Outlook will not remember the zoom level.

Since this does not work with plain text emails (the mouse wheel does), also select Tools ' Options... from the menu, go to the Mail Format tab, click Fonts... and use the Choose Font... button under When composing and reading plain text: to choose a bigger font. The above instructions are courtesy of About.com.

Here is a link referring to reading Gmail.

This has happened several times... so hopefully you can teach me what I am doing. I am in the middle of writing an email, my hand moves.... somewhere.... and the message is deleted. Sometimes it goes to...

What e-mail program are you using?
Try placing a piece of card or a thin book or similar item over the touch pad so it cannot be touched. Then try typing an e-mail. If the problem goes away then it is definately a problem with the touch pad. If the problem remains then there is some other problem, possibly the keyboard layout cause you to press the DELETE button by mistake.
If the touch pad is the problem then try setting the touch pad sensitivity to minimum. Plugging in a USB mouse DOES NOT disable the touch pad, so this will not help you if you accidentally brush the touch pad while typing.
