Question about Dynex 32 in. LCD Flat-Panel HDTV
Of course, just out of warantee (really dislike that word!). This is not the -09 screen. Damage in the lower right corner, 4 inches up, 3 inches from right side of screen, dented in about a quarter inch in. No apparent damage otherwise. Original cost around $400.00. Should I have it fixed, or just pay to have Rico taken away?........ Just Kidding.
To answer your question, your probably better off buying a new television. LCD tv's are made of a thin layer of special ionic chemicals sandwiched between two plastic plates, this allows it to light up to produce an image. If your television image is distorted in any way, this means the ionic chemicals have leaked or become solidified, any repair (if even possible) would require replacing the majority of the television, and it will be cheaper just to get a new tv. Sorry Ron!
