Remove the face and there has been known to be a little button that is buried and looks flat using a pen or little screwdriver push the button in with unit turned on and hold until reset starts. if no button then disconnect power to the unit. either undo the pos battery cable for a couple of minutes and reconnect or unplug the back of the stereo for a min. and reconnect. hope this helps let me know.

I made a mistake and hit the sync button on my radio..and now theres a white screen with across in the corner and i cant utilize the screen or cds or dvds..only the bluetooth works...ive removed the car...

You probably have on your car stereo either a single push button that you press to select the audio source (Radio/CD/DVD/Bluetooth) or 4 separate buttons labeled: Radio, DVD, CD, Bluetooth, respectively. Because a sync operation can refer only to a Bluetooth audio source (phone, tablet), your stereo is in now in the source mode for a Bluetooth audio source. Find the button or buttons for the selecting the audio source and select Radio or CD or DVD (you are already on Bluetooth).

Buttons on the stereo, sony zx66i, will not work but the buttons on the remote do. Unfortunately, there is no botton to open the 5 disc changer. Is there a reset button or way to fix it?

check all the buttons and make sure one is not stuck in. If there is one stuck button, it could cause all the others to not work. If you find a stuck one, it will usually pop back out with a little help from a small screwdriver

We have a tv where we are getting some chanels with out voice but others are fine, any idea

Try resetting the TV (look for through the Menu options for a Setup or Tools section and an item like Restore Default or Memory Recall). Then exit the Menu and return to the Menu and do a new channel scan.

Other resets can be done by unplugging the TV for a minute.

I hope this helps.

(I had a recent issue with one channel having no audio and another no video and resetting the TV's memory to the defaults and then rescanning worked.)

Jvc kd-sh55 head unit

Have you tried pressing the "RESET" button on the stereo? I have a JVC unit in my car and the reset button is a tiny hole behind the detachable face. Take a pencil or a pen and insert the end into the tiny hole an hold for a few seconds. This will reset the stereo and you should be able to eject the CD as you normally would. If it's a mini-disc (8mm) you probably would have to take the unit apart and manually retrieve it - big hassle. Check the owner's manual to find out where the "RESET" button is if it is not behind the face. If you don't have the owner's manual, you can download one from jvc.com.. Hope this helps.
