Edit specific "Options"
Option 2: 35 (enables Divx/Xvid playback) Option 4: ff (enables Vcd and SVCD playback) Option 5: ff (enables region free playback (region 0) DVD playback) Option 6: ce (enables Insignia brand startup logo on boot) Option 6: c0 (enables LG brand startup logo on boot)
You must power down after enabling region free playback and re-start.
Only DVD's themselves can be multi-region (region code 0).
I always advise on this site that you NEVER change the region code on your DVD player! Here is why....
To prevent DVD copy piracy, every DVD player from EVERY manufacturer allows (if it is allowed at all) only TWO changes to the region code. A third attempt to change the region code permanently locks the player and turns it into a paperweight.
If you happen to be the rare exception to the rule.... that you have moved to a new place that requires you to change the region code to view locally purchased DVD's, then by all means change it ONCE to be able to use your DVD player. Please remember that you can only change it one more time after that though! You will unfortunately not be able to watch DVD's that are from your old region.
