My LG LDF 6810ST dishwasher does not heat the water. I am looking for the correct repair parts.

I performed the CHECK PROGRAM per the LG manual.

The following steps had CHECK PROGRAM errors. I have listed the step, the expected display reading and the reading I obtained. Do these results indicate which components should be replaced?

    1) I pressed Upper Only + Time Delay + POWER. The display showed 3H/UO, it should have displayed 3H/U2.

    2) I pressed Time Delay one time. The display flashed 1 then 62. It should have displayed 31

    3) I pressed Time Delay four times. The display showed 0, it should have displayed 34.

    4) Time Delay nine times. The display showed 27. It should display 39.

Do these tests indicate which parts I need to purchase to repair the dishwasher?

I would really appreciate any help you could provide

    John

Using the programs, how did you determine that the heater unit was defective. I tried, set to 36 (10 second heater unit). Do I feel for heat. I just assumed that was it and ordered a part, but it would be nice to be able to confirm.

Hi,
You definitely need to download the Service Manual. You can start the check program by pressing Upper Only+Time Delay+Power, but you need to know the sequence to be followed to check each component. I did this to fix my dishwasher (heater unit was deffective).
I recommend you to search the internet for the Service Manual (you can find it for download) and run the program.
Good luck !

LDF7932ST LG dishwasher top and bottom arms not turning. Diagnostic test mode "power+spray+ rinse" does not work.

I put a new lower spray arm and very little water comes out of it. There is quite a bit of water that comes out of the middle and top. The top does not spin but has quite a bit of water and the middle spins really good.

Water heater no go.

The heating element is turned on first during the main wash cycle, which could be approximately 10 minutes in. Since this error is coming up, the first thing to check/replace is the heating element.

I am only familiar with the LDF family of LG dishwashers and on them, to get to the heating element, you pull the dishwasher, invert the entire DW and remove the access panel.

Good Luck, please post back here what you find, OK?

Need lg dishwasher owners manual model # ldf7932st

Since there is no category for the LG LDF7932 model, I uploaded the manual for this model in the LDF 7811 section.

Scroll to the top here and click on the link that says LDF 7811 and then scroll down to the manual section. It may take 24 hours for the manual I uploaded to be placed there to be reviewed by FixYa management.

Good Luck!

the problem is not your dishwasher or your detergent. the reason for these spots is hard water. www.dishwasherfilter.com makes a new product to address and fix this problem. it filters the water going into your dishwasher leaving your dishes spot free with every load. it is very affordable and fits right under your sink. it is guaranteed to work or your money back. you will love this product. thanks

Ie problem on lg dishwasher

The IE is telling you it is not getting enough water. Could be your water pressure is low. Check to make sure the there is not a build up of grime, or calcium deposits in the water hose, and at the valve.
The other thing is if your unit is an older one, prior to mar 07, you may have broken wires in the door. Remove the door panel and look for any wires that are stuck in the insulation. The sensor wires are thin and gray in colour. Splice the wires and put some of the white insulation in between the wires and the door so it cannot happen again.
Broken wires can be hard to find if the break is not all the way through.

Ldf 7811ST dishwasher

ok if that's the correct code then it will likely be a communication problem between the motor and control panel ie loose wire broken wire resistance on the touch pad control ribbon which can be cleaned with a pencil eraser by the way or something along those lines the control just thinks the motor is bad because it cant communicate with it maybe

New LG Dishwasher Suddenly has no power

My LG dishwasher purchased in '06" began giving me IE errors,
so after talking with replacing the circuit board & the overflow switch it still didn't work.
I inspected the wire harness closer which os located behind the door and found the wires weere heated and frayed. Now I need to replace it but I feel that the problem will be resolved once I replace the main harness. There ar emany issues I read about nightmares with LG so I will not buy them again!!
