For some unknown reason, Uniden assigned a very similar model number to two very different scanners. The 30 channel scanner you have is a BC60XLT-1, where the 10 channel version is a BC60XLT.

The manual for the BC60XLT-1 can be found at this link:

The BC60CXLT is a 10-channel scanner. Here is a link to the owners manual:

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Is my BC60XLT-1 Uniden bearcat 30channel/10 band radio becoming old technology? I am having trouble receiving some stations that I used to get. Is the format changing like that for televisions have...

If the stations are just "gone" chances are that they've moved to digital and/or trunked systems. Without knowing your exact location and the frequencies/services that you "lost" a more specific answer isn't possible. But yes, technology is changing and a lot of metropolitan area services are moving to improve the reliability and security of their communications.
