Try changing SW 3 to on for FULL CUT.

I think it may have to be in Epson mode to do this as according to the manual but try it anway and let me know if you need further help.

I am trying to cut out the quilt for pattern and 3795 and I'm confused why I need to put price 2 on the fold line

Cannot see the pattern you are describing, but there is a very good reason why you need to double the fabric.

Because that piece needs to be doubled. If you cut out only one piece, you would only have half of what is needed. If you cut 2 separate pieces, that means you would have to sew a seam down the middle (plus, once you've sewn a seam, that particular piece will be too small since you reduced the size by taking two seams-width out of it).

By way of example, look at the back of your blouse. It is one solid piece from underarm to the other underarm. One side is the mirror image of the other side, with the centerline down the middle of your back. The pattern companies save paper by giving you only half the pattern, and you accomplish making a full piece by placing the pattern's center line on the fold of the fabric. When you've cut out the fabric and open it up, you have one "complete" piece.

When cutting a bevel across skirting board,I get a curved cut across.

Your piece is not square to the cutting blade and is moving during the cutting process. The direction of the curve tells you which way the piece is moving.

What can i do with kitchen shears?

Kitchen shears are a very useful item to have in a kitchen. They can easily and comfortably substitute a knife in many tasks. For example:
- Cutting fresh herbs and spices
- Cutting the roots off vegetables before using them
- Cutting all kinds of raw pastries (like phyllo) and doughs (pizza, pasta etc)
- Snipping pieces of cheese
- Cutting poultry, meet and fish both raw and cooked (for example cutting off wings, cutting poultry into smaller pieces, cutting scales and finns off fish, cutting rotisserie chicken, cutting open crab legs, trimming fat off meat etc)
- Cutting fruits and dried fruit
Shears are also very useful in a kitchen as normal scissors, to cut string, wrapping paper etc

Paper has wrapped around the cutting blades and is packed in tight. How do I clean this?

    • 1 Unplug the paper shredder. Empty the shreds from the collection bin. Pull as much stuck material as possible from the top and bottom of the shredder blades with pliers.
    • 2 Place the paper shredder back on the collection bin base and plug the shredder back in. Rock the shredding direction back and forth between forward and reverse. Pull on the jammed pieces as the shredder shifts between directions.
    • 3 Run the shredder in reverse continuously once the paper jam is cleared. Make two passes across the cutting blades while drizzling synthetic shredder oil. Switch the direction to forward to run continuously for one minute.
    • 4 Lower two sheets of clean paper into the shredder. The paper removes excess oil, metal fragments and debris from the cutting blades. Blast the blades with compressed air when you notice a build-up of small paper scraps that may cause a jam.

I have a simple Royal paper shredder. Got paper stuck in it. Going back and forth the paper appears to be gone, and it grinds normally in reverse but going forward the green light is on but nothing will...

Does the machine even run in reverse???? Have you ever oiled the machine.???
Put some "shredder oil" onto the cutting blades while it is running in reverse then try running it forwards.
If you can hear the motor running but the cutting blades dont turn you will have to open it up to see what is broken.
For parts assistance you can contact Royal at 1-800-524-0799.

My shredder still crosscuts, but it seems that the middle is not working. All of the shredded material seems to accumulate in the middle. I turned it over and cleaned it out, but it happens again and...

Take the cutting head off the waste bin container and turn it over and see if you have a "wad" of paper stuck behind the cutting shafts in the middle which would cause this problem.

My shredder won't continuously shred a piece of paper. I have to reverse it then turn it on again multiple times to shred just one piece of paper. Can I fix this?

If it is a x-cut shredder try oiling ( with a lightweight shredder oil ) onto a sheet of paper then shredding the sheet of paper to get the oil down into the cutting teeth....also try cleaning the "eyes" which are in the middle were you insert the paper..( they may be dirty.)

Royal Shredder

there is a small micro switch in about the middle of the paper slot, make sure it is not jammed, it should move freely and make a small clicking sound with the power off.
