Can't get router to work after disconnection.

Try setting it up as follows, if its not working come back on and let us know.

Plug in the modem power.
Plug in the router power.
Plug in one ethernet cable from the modem to the internet port or WAN port of the router.
If not wireless, plug a second ethernet cable into the "1" port of the router and the other end of that cable to the computers LAN or ethernet port.

Attempt to get on a website.
If this is unsuccessful, restart the modem by unplugging the power cord from the modem, wait 15 seconds, then plug it back in.
Unplug the router, wait for 15 seconds then plug it back in.

Still doesn't work?
On your computer, hit Start>Run>type cmd in the text box and hit enter.
A window will open up with a cursor.
Type ipconfig /release
Hit enter.
Type ipconfig /renew
Hit enter.

Try once again to access a website. If this is unsuccessful, return this site and let us know what steps you have tried.

Hope this helps.

Had the same prob configured as 192.168.0.* for my previous router. Make sure your setup node is using a 10.0.0.* and plugged directly into one of the Zoom's ethernet ports. After this change the "install" software could detect the router and browser could connect to http://10.0.0.2 to really set up the router. I also got hosed (couldn't establish DSL link) because I reused the old quality patch cord from the old router. Pinout standards have changed and it came right up with the cheesier Zoom-supplied cable.
