Question about Vivitar Photography
Re: Vivitar VPT-1200
Missing a piece. I have nothing to screw the camera onto. The piece is probably a wheel with a screw in the middle?
Can I acquire such a spare part?
You can get the part you need (QB-4W) off the web. The part doesn't have a wheel, it's called a quick release plate. It's going to cost about 12. usd. Here is just one site you can find it.
Hope this helps.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Tips for a great answer:

Try www.TripodQuickRelease.com for that part. There is listed the widest selection of quick releases and support more brands than any other web site I've seen.
